Insufficiently to my own train of thought, my inspiration has been strewn about the place very fluently; as to why I cannot even understand.
I have been playing a whole lot of "Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning." I guess I am just a little indulgent in that sensibility. Who can really tell.
I am currently investing in a tablet so I may be able to do some digital art, and animation. I just feel as if I was supposed to do digital art all along, or whatever. Coloring is so much easier, and everything blends well with my imagination.
I'll be scoping about D.A. for a while, finding things that tickle my fancy. Currently, I have been looking at the works of Chris-Supernerd. His deviants are very very well done, and I love the comic book style. Not to mention I have been reading Frank Miller's "The Dark Knight". Inspirational to say in the least.
The state fair is here too. Maybe I'll go look at some galleries.
I have recently, to further hone my artistic abilities... have started to write a book called "Boxman and Circleman: IN SPACE!" This is a comic book about two characters... Boxman and Circleman, in their attempt to do something fun on a very boring day of Video games, and Television. They reside in Oval Isles, a residence of Shapeland, that is curiously out in the middle of the ocean. They wind up catching a boat, getting to NASA, and flying into space, all on accident. There, they meet many Alien creatures who help them find their way home.
I plan on making BMCM a series comic, with various titles. I thought about "Boxman and Circleman: At the Zoo!", and "Boxman and Circleman: Write a Story!" All of these comics don't exceed about 50 pages, but they are pretty witty, and artistically awesome.
It's a children-book style, but more geared towards my insanity and my utter mental chaos.
More will be announced in the future, but here's a basic synopsis of what exactly this book will be about:
There's a kid named Jimmy, and he has a box full of dreams. He carries his box around his neck, or in a little bag his mom gave him. He never loses sight of it. One faithful day, these bullies decide to shatter his dream box... and the dreams invade the town! Thus, causing all of his Nightmares, Dreams, and thoughts to be publicly expressed through these creatures that he calls friends.
In the story, I intend on including some super hero guys that Jimmy wished he could be when he was younger, and possibly some other surprises.
The style will be, of course, my kind of style... but portrayed as a childish kind of story, and not too many expletives. The thing about this is to be crazily in love with it, and continue to bug me about there possibly being a second one. It will be happy at times, sad at times, gruesome at times, and utterly chaotic!
